Established in 1987, Atlanta Photography Group (APG) is an artist-initiated 501(c)(3) nonprofit membership organization providing opportunities and support to the fine art photography community.

These goals are supported through a wide range of activities that are overseen by a Board of Directors.

Receiving 501(c)3 status that same year, APG is Atlanta's oldest photography art center. In 2002, APG moved to its current location at the Tula Art Center.
APG hosts exhibitions throughout the year in gallery spaces throughout the Atlanta area. Most shows are juried by well-known photography curators, gallery owners and experts. APG exhbitions are free and open to the public, times to be determined and by appointment.
