Savages are on the cover of the latest issue of MAGNET Magazine. They were interviewed by Josh Homme (Queens of the Stone Age, Eagles of Death Metal). The band are playing at Shaky Knees on Fri., May 13. Get your tickets here

Hellier Ulysses is releasing a new album, Prime Example, on OSR Tapes. You can preorder the record and stream three tracks at this location. The band’s last release, Ulysses Hellier, was released in 2013. 

There’s a new Book of Colors LP out. Check out the band’s album release show at Terminal West on Sat., Feb. 27 with Hello Ocho and Little Tybee, and read CL music scribe Sean Zearfross’ Q&A with the band here.

Sleep Dance will be playing at this rad house show with Ivadell (SC) and Formative Years (TN) on Thurs., Feb. 25. Details on the Facebook event page

The World Is... recenty premiered a new song, “Katamari Duquette,” at NPR. The song will be released on the group’s upcoming record, Long Live Happy Birthday, which comes out on March 15 via Topshelf. The band will perform at he Masquerade on Sat., Apr. 9 with Into It. Over It. and Pinegrove, both of whom have also premiered new songs before hitting the road).

Bambara, who used to hail from Athens, just released a new song, “All the Ugly Things,” from the group’s upcoming record, Swarm (out March 4 via Arrowhawk). They’ll be in Atlanta on Sat., March 12 with Guerilla Toss, Muuy Bien, and Bataille. Don’t miss it.

<!————-<br————> ICYMI, there’s also a new Bodyfather song streaming at Immersive Atlanta. It’s titled “White Beams” and it’ll be on their long-awaited record Heavy Rest, out Feb. 16. They’re at the 529 on Sat., Feb. 27, with MTN ISL, Paralyzer, and DiCaprio (the latter’s first show).  


Kevin Morby has a new song out!! It’s titled “I Have Been to the Mountain,” and it’s from his upcoming record, Singing Saw (out April 15 via Dead Oceans). He just released a video for it, too. Oh, and he’ll be at the EARL on Sat., June 25, with Jaye Bartrell.

Finally, there’s also a new digital single, “Streets,” from Onchi, which Bobby Moore covers on the latest Some Kind of Hate
