Brother Hawk prescribes “Big Medicine” with the video. This premier gives the title track for the group’s upcoming album a visual counterpart. The video was filmed by Bear Allison and Chris McCoy at Raven’s Eye Media, and captures Brother Hawk’s expansive and rural blend of Southern rock revival and post-hardcore grandeur in its natural environment — the swamps of Big Haynes Creek near where frontman J.B. Brisendine resides, and where the band rehearses.
Brother Hawk serves up a full dose of Southern hospitality for the Big Medicine album release show at the Earl on Wed., May 28. Fellow rock revivalists Stonerider and Tedo Stone also perform.
