‘A3C Vol. 5’ packs 50 tracks for annual comp’s return
The breadth and depth of musical styles on display throughout this year’s comp points to a truly eclectic lineup for A3C 2015.
A3C and iHipHop Distribution pair up once again to roll out the fifth installment of their annual compilation series. A3C Vol. 5 is a long one — 50 songs total. Track for track this year’s comp touches on scores of acts gracing the festival’s stages October 7-11. Standout cuts from the 2015 edition include U-God’s “Journey” remix (featuring Cannibal Ox and Kool Keith), Sudden Death’s “Bee Feral,” and Khori⁴’s “Money, Power, Neglect.” The most striking aspect of it all is the breadth and depth of styles on display as each new number plays out. Let this one play out again and again, and something new reveals itself with each listen.
