Fourth annual Art-B-Que Fest returns for two days of outdoor food, music and art

Image If you’re looking for something fun to do with your mom this year for Mother’s Day, the fourth annual Art-B-Que Fest returns to Avondale Estates on Sat. and Sun., May 7-8 for two full days of outdoor food, music and art activities.

The festival takes place in the Railroad Arts District (RAD) on Franklin Street, one block behind the building that used to house Alcove Gallery at 2852 East College Ave. (the new home for PASTE), between Olive and Pine St. Or if you’re heading down Ponce it’s between the Waffle House and James Joyce.

Acts that are lined up to perform this year include Noot d’ Noot, Nine Inch Neils, Underhill Rose, Adron, Jackwagon, Mule Skinner MacQueen, High Strung String Band, Tiger Tiger, AM Gold, Jennifer Teeter, Smokey’s Farmland Band, Possum Jenkins, Worthless Son In Laws, the Imperial Opa Circus and the Art of Such and Such’s Interactive Sculpture will be on hand as well.
