This Saturday, De La Soul’s 3rd Plug, Maseo, provides the soundtrack to a free party on Dekalb Avenue. It seems the owner of Fallen Arrows, the party’s host, is good buds with Mase, as this isn’t the first time he’s handled the tunes for one of their parties. This time, it’s a launch event for the garment printing shop’s newest shirt line, featuring tees created for Victory Sandwich Bar, Park Grounds, Tasty Sisters, Memorial Tattoo, Squash Blossom, Good Food Truck, Videodrome, Cake Hag, and PBR. Temperatures are rising and we get a free performance from a hip-hop legend? It’s gonna be a good summer.
