Maybach Music Group’s Pill talks about recording his intimate album in the fourth episode of The Plight of the Pill on XXL.com. The Atlanta rapper explains the painful process of writing about his late mother for a track on the album. He goes in depth about the day he lost his mother, but insists writing about it helped him grow. “I felt like a better man,” Pill says. He hopes to drop the album, The Medicine, later this year.
