Underground artist turned mixtape phenom, the Weeknd, released his new mixtape Thursday last night and created quite a stir with fans and media this morning. The House of Balloons singer approaches this mixtape in his classic melodic and sensual way, especially on his seductive single “The Zone,” which features a verse from his Toronto buddy, Drake. The release already has the Internet buzzing. In fact, eager fans swarmed the artist’s website last night, causing it to crash. Sounds like Thursday’s starting the weekend off on a high note.
