David Barbe to lead UGA music business program

Chase Park co-owner, producer and engineer starts his new job immediately

According to Athens Banner-Herald, former Sugar bassist and Chase Park Transduction Studio co-owner, producer and engineer David Barbe was named interim director of UGA’s Music Business Certificate Program on Monday (Aug. 2).

Barbe will replace Bruce Burch, the program’s founding co-director who last month took his top assistant and a fundraiser to start a similar program at Kennesaw State University.
