Who Killed All of the Stars?

Image @kimkardashian #Dead. @aliciakeys #Dead. @ladygaga #Dead. @jtimberlake #Dead. @janelleMonae #Dead. Wait! Before you change your facebook profile picture in homage of these fallen stars, let me explain. It is not an unsolved pandemic that is causing this celebrity bloodshed. In fact, it’s actually a good thing. Many of your favorite celebrities are sacrificing their digital lives (Twitter and Facebook) in order to save the millions of lives that are affected by AIDS and HIV in India and Africa. If you go to any of the (above) celebrity twitter accounts a tweet stating “(Insert Celebrity’s Name) is digitally dead. Watch (Celebrity’s Name) last Tweet and Testament here - http://bit.ly/acS1TR #BUYLIFE”.

?
These sudden digital deaths come in support of World Aids Day 2010, which is meant to spread awareness about the AIDS and HIV. These celebrities will stay dead until $1,000,000 is donated to Keep A Child Alive.

?
It’s a bit reminiscent to other celebrity fundraisers, but while USA for Africa and Band Aid united celebrities together to offer up their talents for relief, these celebrities have united to practice self-restraint. When it comes down to it, it is all about saving lives and there’s nothing more commendable than that.
