What’s going on this weekend? The annual Candler Park Music & Food Festival takes place Friday and Saturday, featuring performances from the likes of Galactic, Chris Robinson Brotherhood, Yonder Mountain String Band, and more. Slim Chance & The Convicts celebrate their 30th anniversary as a band at Kavarna (give Doug DeLoach’s feature for Creative Loafing a read), and Dolly Parton plays Infinite Energy Center, too. Perhaps most notably, the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra performs the music of David Bowie at Symphony Hall on Saturday. The show is sold out, thought — hope you got tickets! If not, hit up Aisle 5 for The Songs of Bowie: From Brixton to Blackstar.
