SUN/NOVEMBER 19
Noted acts
ACCENTUS CHAMBER CHOIR — This award-winning French chamber choir tours performing works by Poulenc, Schoenberg, Wolf, Ligeti and Barber, as well as Mahler and Chopin. Spivey Hall (Ware)
PAUL SANCHEZ, KITTY SNYDER — Cowboy Mouth guitarist Paul Sanchez has been a part of the "anti-folk" movement for years and divides his time between rocking out with Fred LaBlanc and doing his solo acoustic thang. Tonight, the charming Kitty Snyder — one of the best songwriters in the Southeast — drives in from Athens to open the show with a selection of her quietly confessional acoustic tunes. Smith's Olde Bar (Smith)
THE SEA & CAKE, BROADCAST — See Sea & Cake review. See Broadcast article . Echo Lounge (Robertson/Allen)
TYPE O NEGATIVE, SPINESHANK — For a goth/metal band co-founded by a Playgirl coverboy, Type O certainly have an unusually pop-oriented song sense. As evidenced by their overdriven, bleeding-eardrums rendition of Seals & Crofts' "Summer Breeze," it distinguishes them head and leather-wrapped shoulders above the rest of the black-eyeliner crowd. See Spineshank review online at atlanta.creativeloafing .com. Masquerade (Nicoll)
