RAVI & ANOUSHKA SHANKAR — Continuing the ancient Indian family value of musical transmission, 81-year-old virtuoso Ravi Shankar has been joined on stage and recordings lately by his 20-year-old daughter and star pupil of the sitar, Anoushka. Backed by other traditional instruments of North Indian classical music, they’ll impel their Rialto audience toward a sublime synthesis of crystalline form and igneous improvisation.
