EX-GIRL, HIGH FIVE BROS. AND ALLISON KENDRA HUNT, LADIES NIGHT — See eX-Girl article, p. 75. The High_Five_Bros. and Allison Kendra Hunt are droning instrumentalists a la Spiritualized. And Ladies Night play instrumental, angular prog-punk. The Earl (Ware)

ZORKI — New York singer/songwriter Zorki has relocated down South and makes his Atlanta debut tonight. His most recent CD, Room to Fall, alternates between stripped-down acoustic fare and full-scale arrangements, featuring A-list players including bassist Tony Levin and members of Paul Simon’s Graceland band. In fact, the bright, folky orchestrations and worldly pop of Room to Fall at times very much recall Simon’s own ’70s and ’80s work. Smith’s Olde Bar (Sarig)
