Why you should listen to CL podcasts

CL is all about some podcasts, those trendy downloadable audio shows that you can listen to at your computer or a compatible MP3 player. Last week, CL launched “Earshot Atlanta,” a podcast that focuses on Atlanta’s music and nightlife scenes. New episodes of “Earshot Atlanta” post Thursdays at http://www.earshotatlanta.com/www.earshotatlanta.com, but you can also find it at http://atlanta.creativeloafing.com/atlanta.creativeloafing.com (and soon, iTunes). In case you haven’t decided to check us out yet, here are a few more arm-twisters:

??
1) This week’s episode of “Earshot Atlanta” features interviews with musician/composer Andy Ditzler and drum ‘n’ bass DJ/promoter Mayhem, plus samples of their music.

??
2) Last week’s show (which you can still check out) featured tips on not getting kicked out of MJQ from door manager Poppy, and a track from the Selmanaires.

??
3) Every week, “Earshot Atlanta’s” co-hosts — CL copy editor Chanté LaGon and music editor Heather Kuldell (me) — share upcoming concerts and events, and staff writer Mosi Reeves reports on local music news.

??
4) Not only does “Earshot Atlanta” features podcast-only content, stay tuned for segments like “Day Job,” which features local starving artists and their tracks, and “Don’t Be That Guy,” helpful nightlife/music biz etiquette.

??
5) CL has other podcasts, too. Check out “Audiofloss” (aka “Misadventures in Urban Music and Culture”), “Ed Loves Bacon” (about miscellaneous stuff), and others at atlanta.creativeloafing.com.
