Saturday at the cemetery

On the jukebox at Grant Park’s Six Feet Under

Thank you, meteorologists, or whomever is responsible for the sunny weather. The rain was getting old — after all, we’re Southerners, not Seattle-ers (Seattle-ese? Seattle-ians?). To celebrate the first decent Saturday in weeks, friends and I dropped in on Grant Park’s Six Feet Under, but apparently, we weren’t the only ones who thought seafood and a sunny deck overlooking a cemetery would be the way to go. While knocking back pints, here are the tunes we noticed on the jukebox and figured someone was feeling some late ’60s, early ’70s rock:

??
1) “Funk #47” — James Gang: Not to be confused with “Funk #48” or “Funk #49.”

??
2) “Rough Justice” — Rolling Stones: OK, this track isn’t from the ’70s, but that’s when the group was in its prime.

??
3) “Making Time” — the Creation: You know it from the Rushmore soundtrack if you weren’t alive back then.

??
4) “Sparks” — the Who: Tommy, can you hear me?

??
5) “Dream Police” — Cheap Trick: Caught me again, technically released in 1979.
