Lil Scrappy’s ‘Gs Up TV’

Webisodes from rapper Darryl Richardson

The son of a preacher and a madam, Darryl Richardson was destined to make good television no matter what he turned out to be. Fortunately, he ended up as rapper Lil Scrappy, currently promoting his Bred 2 Die, Born 2 Live album with “Gs Up TV” (www.gsuptv.com). The webisodes are short, but so far they’ve had some sweet moments:

??
1) Momma Dee: It’s not TV, it’s Momma TV as Scrappy’s slick-talking, take-no-shit matriarch breaks down the pimp game. HBO should call her.

??
2) Megawatt smile: After a horrible bottle attack, it took well into five figures to reconstruct what was left of Scrappy’s teeth. Hats off to the oral surgeon, cuz the result is awesome.

??
3) Spirits taste test: Because Scrappy and Lil Jon know their way around a bottle of “yak.” Yeeeah!

??
4) History lesson: He reaches into “the vaults” for Biggie and Tupac, this young’un’s version of old school. That’s super cute.

??
5) Exterior shots of sweet-looking house: If he really lives there, neighbors better beware.
