A quick guide to what’s happening in nightlife each week

Tiki

The thrills and spills of Polynesian cultural exploitation are alive and well in Atlanta SEPT. 18 at Trader Vic’s downtown with the HUKILAU PREVIEW PARTY. Part of the regular Tiki Torch Nights series, this party is sure to get your blood going with performances by Italian import I Belli di Waikiki, who comes all the way from Italy just to perform Polynesian music for you. The head reels just trying to comprehend such hula-by-way-of-Europe rock ‘n’ roll entertainment. Also, a raffle for “Temptation Potions,” a Polynesian floor show and the omnipresent, always-spectacular Dames A’Flame a Go Go performing with Tongo Hiti Spectacular Tropicale. Break out that Hawaiian shirt and fit in with the fun. Possibly the only time you’ll hear that offer ... ever. 9 p.m. $5 or free with dinner purchase. Trader Vic’s, 255 Courtland St. 404-659-2000. www.tikikiliki.com.
