Coming Attractions

Music Midtown will be a lil’ bit country and a lil’ bit rock ‘n’ roll this year with such acts as Keith Urban, Alan Jackson, Loretta Lynn, the White Stripes, the Pixies, Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, Kid Rock, Keane, the Killers, Louis XIV, Bloc Party and a host of others coming to town to perform. A hip-hop stage will be booked by local impresario (and Janet Jackson’s main squeeze) Jermaine Dupri, but no acts have been announced. Ticket prices are $65 for a three-day pass, up $20 bucks from last year. The outdoor festival will be held from June 10-12 - the same weekend that Vibe magazine has scheduled a music festival at the Georgia Dome and the World Congress Center.
