What do sunglasses reveal about oneself?

Baker: You’re talking to a guy who’s got 20 pairs of sunglasses. Some women buy shoes when they’re depressed, I go buy a pair of sunglasses. Sunglasses are a cheap fix, man. Twelve, 15 bucks, put them on, look at the world through a different pair of glasses. It’s cool. I wear these to see the world through rose-colored sunglasses. It makes things warmer, softer, the sky is prettier.

Michelle: The kind of guys I like have an appreciation for art and music, classical perhaps, so they’re going to be wearing Dolce & Gabbana sunglasses or Gucci, as opposed to Oakleys with Croakies. Those guys wouldn’t know what Manolo Blahniks are or appreciate the value of a $450 pair of stiletto sandals. If a guy is wearing Oakleys, you know he’s into sports, a frat boy or good old Southern boy.

Leigh: I wear them to hide my eyes. They’re Gucci. I don’t want people to see that my eyes are red all the time. It’s from smokin’ pot. I grew up in California and there you do it for stress but down here it’s a little more conservative. I know to them it’s the evil gateway drug. It’s not hurting anybody. I smoke cigarettes, too. I’d rather quit smoking cigarettes than marijuana.
