Birthday bash
In restaurant years, Mumbo Jumbo is approaching middle age. Tummy stuffers
Who said there’s no such thing as a free lunch? Panera Bread kicked off a month-long food drive by donating lunch for 250 children to the Jesse Draper Boys & Girls Club of America July 11. The restaurant teams up with the Atlanta Community Food Bank, collecting non-perishables at all nine of its Atlanta locations throughout July, to distribute food to organizations that feed kids. Chinese secret

Study group
Go behind the scenes at three of Midtown’s eateries. Chef Jamie Adams of Eno, Chef Michael Persichetti of Veni, Vidi, Vici and Chef Filipo Saporito of Terra di Siena will demonstrate recipes and share preparation tips during a series of cooking classes titled “Inside the Kitchens of Midtown.” The first class will be hosted at Eno July 30 from 6-8:30 p.m. 800 Peachtree St. 404-685-3191.
