News - Buckle Down at Belt Line Meeting

Ah, the Belt Line - a proposed network of rail lines that would connect many of the city's neighborhoods, thus easing traffic congestion and making life better for everyone. That's the idea, anyway. Of course, with cost estimates ranging from $400 million all the way to $1.2 billion, there are a few details to be hammered out.

On Thurs., May 5, the city of Atlanta is holding the first of five meetings to solicit citizen input on a proposed tax allocation district that would help foot the bill.
