Pedestrian advocacy group PEDS will sponsor a forum Wed., July 13, at which Dr. Karen Mumford of the Emory School of Public Health will share her research on 13 public parks in DeKalb County. The findings could influence future governmental decisions about what to do with the parks. Mumford will answer questions about the potential impact of this study on public policy.
The PEDS forum will be held from 6:30-8 p.m. at the Decatur Public Library, 215 Sycamore St. For more info, visit www.peds.org.??
