News - talk about Atlanta’s water supply

According to Southface, a local environmental advocacy group, metro Atlanta’s water supply may be more threatened than many people think. Southface, in conjunction with several other environmental activist groups and local businesses, will host a roundtable Fri., July 8, to discuss the city’s water supply. A panel of experts will discuss technological and land-use planning ideas to address the issue. Panelists will include Atlanta Regional Commission planner Rick Brownlow and NewFields CEO Billy Hall.

The Sustainable Atlanta Roundtable will be held at All Saints Church, 634 W. Peachtree St., from 7:30-9 a.m. The fee, which includes breakfast, is $15. For more info, call 404-872-3549 or go to www.southface.org.??
