News - Help Improve mobility

Fulton County’s Department of Public Works will host public meetings in July and August at which citizens can get involved in the agency’s recommendations for future transportation projects. The meetings will include an update on the Atlanta Regional Commission’s transportation improvement plan for 2006-2011. The plan will affect bridges, bikeways, sidewalks, intersection construction and road improvements. Attendees are be encouraged to comment on the proposals. Meetings will be held Mon., July 18, in Atlanta; Tues., July 19, and Mon., Aug. 15, in south Fulton; and Thurs., Aug. 18, in north Fulton.

All meetings begin at 6:30 p.m. The first will be at the North Fulton Service Center, 7741 Roswell Road. The next two will be at the South Fulton Service Center, 5600 Stonewall Tell Road, College Park. The last will be at the East Roswell Recreation Center, 9000 Fouts Road, Roswell.
