News - Sierra Club 101

The Georgia chapter of the Sierra Club will hold Sierra Club 101, a meeting for Sierra Club newcomers, on Sat., Nov. 19. The Sierra Club is a national organization that works to protect the environment, and the event will feature activism training and instruct participants on what they can do to make Atlanta a cleaner, safer, healthier community. Learn exactly what the Sierra Club does and how you can get involved in specific issues, such as local transit projects and land conservation efforts.
