Zayra Alicia Fosse is a community relations and business development manager for Coca-Cola, but on the side, she has spearheaded the Hispanic professional mixers scene:</
“I wanted to be a part of a more diverse city and Atlanta offered a variety of cultural experiences similar to other international cities. The size also attracted me. I wanted an international city with the best of both worlds. Atlanta has a small-town feel with big-city choices.</
“It began with the Hispanic Professional Social, a monthly networking event in Atlanta’s premier venues. The idea came from my experience with other networking events in Atlanta.</
“Atlanta is a great city for Latin theme nights. The funny thing is that when I first moved here in 1989, there was only one promoter that moved the theme night from venue to venue [and] that was PRProductions. Today, there are so many, and they go as fast as they come. We promote many events for them on WhatQue.com because they have demonstrated consistent quality in their choice of music and venues.”
