Canoe, a recipient of Wine Spectator’s “Award of Excellence,” and CL’s critics’ pick for Best Outdoor Dining in Atlanta for 2001 — will host its last wine tasting of the year, An Old World Tasting of Noble Varietals, Oct. 18 from 5:30 -7:30 p.m. in the gardens by the river. Which wine will it be? EnoCL’s 2001 critics’ pick for Best Wine Dinner and Best Wine List in Atlanta — gets Spanish eyes in October and offers Wines of Spain with Tapas 6-9 p.m. Wed. Oct. 10 and 24. I don’t know how many seconds it’ll take you, but don’t waste any precious time at the Fall Wine Festival in Watkinsville (just outside of Athens) tasting the 60 wines offered from around the world.
