G'day in a Glass
Wines from the Outback make their way up front Wednesday, June 12, as the Australian Wine Bureau introduces G'day in a Glass, an event almost as big as Australia itself. More than 250 wines (including, of course, darling Shirazes and Chardonnays), Australian grub such as lamb and seafood, silent auctions, wine paraphernalia, educational seminars and much more. The big-hearted Aussies even make it for a good cause: Auction proceeds benefit the Atlanta Community Food Bank. Woodruff Arts Center, 1280 Peachtree St. Advance tickets, $45 per person ($60 per person including the wine seminar). Tickets at the door, $50 per person ($65 including the wine seminar). For more information, call 404-760-3407, or visit www.wineaustralia-usa.com or acfb.org. To purchase tickets, call 1-800-965-4827 or go to TicketWeb.com.
