City Grill features wines from the Guenoc Winery of California at its next Wednesday Wine Tasting, June 19. Working With Wine
Villa Christina and the Atlanta Wine Academy have teamed up to offer Wine Workshops on Saturdays. The first takes place June 15 and covers such topics as wine history, production, grape varieties and old vs. new wine countries. $150 per person. G’day in a Glass
Wines from the Outback make their way up front Wednesday, June 12, as the Australian Wine Bureau introduces G’day in a Glass, an event almost as big as Australia itself. More than 250 wines (including, of course, darling Shirazes and Chardonnays), Australian grub such as lamb and seafood, silent auctions, wine paraphernalia, educational seminars and much more. The big-hearted Aussies even manage to make it for a good cause: All auction proceeds benefit the Atlanta Community Food Bank.
