Autism is something we’re only recently coming to understand, but one thing is clear: Being autistic in no way precludes one from rocking. THE SUPERHERO SHOWDOWN is a benefit for Blake Myer’s new film, Disabled But Able to Rock, which documents the life of autistic musician and performance artist Betsy Goodrich, aka Danger Woman. There will be a preview of the film, a costume contest for best superhero, and performances by Danger Woman’s band, Blast-Off Burlesque and the Selmanaires. $10. 9 p.m. Vinyl, 1374 W.
