BUBBAPALOOZA kicks off Memorial Day weekend at the Star Bar with performances by several local rockabilly, punk and country-punk reps of the redneck underground. The fest is a fundraiser for the family of founder Gregory Dean Smalley, who died from complications related to HIV several years back. On Fri., MAY 22, Ghostrider Car Club, Caroline & the Ramblers, Slim Chance & the Convicts and several others are scheduled to perform. On Sat., MAY 23, the Belmont Playboys, Rocket 350, Psychodevilles, the Downer Brothers and more are on deck to take the stage. $10.
