See & Do - Deadly fun April 12 2006

Art

We can’t help but find it a bit odd that Good Friday marks the day that Jesus Christ was crucified. Obviously, it wasn’t a good day for him. Considering its significance, how could the holy day be better celebrated than with a trip to Epitaph Productions’ DEATH SHOW 2 on APRIL 14? Far from a gothy night of spooky tales, the artistic evening exploring the idea of death includes Indonesian music by Gamelon Hungryflower, spoken word by the more macabre-sounding Mr. Doom and others, and dance performances by Ludmilla Marker and Felecia Johnson. $7. 8 p.m. Sycamore Place Gallery & Studios, 120 Sycamore Place. 404-377-7747.
