Arts Agenda - Night lights

Chaos 3, Urban Luminescence, a progressive art extravaganza, features an evening of art, lights, food and more in the historic Fairlie-Poplar District. The third annual event begins at 6 p.m. Nov. 11 with a reception/registration at the High Museum of Art Folk Art and Photography Galleries in the Georgia-Pacific Center, 133 Peachtree St., where viewers get a peek at works from the new exhibit, Chorus of Light: Photographs from Sir Elton John Collection.
The night continues with tours of area galleries and lofts, including the Arts for All Gallery, Ballroom Studios and Luckie Street Studios. While strolling from gallery to gallery, the Comedy Response Team, street performers and specially designed light installations provide entertainment.
Following the tours, participants rendezvous at Karma before moving on to the Rialto Center for the Performing Arts. The gala concludes at the center with a fashion show and food samplings from Mumbo Jumbo, City Grill, Dogwood Brewery and other restaurants.
