Editor’s Note - We’re so bad

We here on the Creative Loafing editorial team have resolved to do things a bit differently this year. Sincerely trying to do the right thing; bringing out the better angel in one another; watching our weight; quitting smoking — that was so 2006.
This year, we pledge to spend a great deal more effort encouraging the worst kind of behavior from you, our loyal reader. We want you to learn how to beat the gayness out of one another with a tennis racquet, how to shake off the attacks of vicious infants, how to taunt live tigers by dangling off tree limbs and sucker-punching them. Most of all, we want you to idle away the hours — at home, at work, while you’re drinking, while you’re driving — by goofing off on a new blog we’ve created called “Bad Habits.”
Noah Gardenswartz, the staff member most responsible for launching clbadhabits.com says, ahem, “The Bad Habits blog is meant to give readers and staff an outlet to share their vices, and just to be fun, too.” Yeah, yeah, yeah. Whatever, Noah. Blah-blah-blah. Go smoke another joint — you know, it’s in your job description. I mean — jeez — it’s not the good, wholesome, clean fun blog. It’s the Bad Habits blog. As in clbadhabits.com.
This week, in fact, we’re kicking off the Bad Habits blog with the kind of investigative project a passel of New York Times national desk reporters only wishes they’d thought off: We want to encourage you to bag your resolutions RIGHT NOW. Then, tell us your pitiful story.
Go to atlanta.creativeloafing.com/resolutions and tell us about it. We may even put your tale in the paper. You can even record resolutions you broke in the past. We don’t give a damn. Because we’re b-a-a-d-d.
