Word - Water: It’s the real thing (at Coke)

Coke announces environmentally friendly plans

On April 20, the Coca-Cola Company announced plans to renovate its Atlanta headquarters complex for the purpose of making it more environmentally friendly. Coke pledges to cut energy consumption at the building by 23 percent and water consumption by 15 percent.

In the press release, Coke’s energy and climate protection manager, Bryan Jacob, explained Coke’s motives thusly:

“As the number one ingredient in our beverages and an essential component to life on Earth, water is important to our Company.”

You see, without water there’s no Coke, no Sprite, no life on Earth, no Fanta.
