'Escorts'

After news reports mentioned that two "escorts" who advertised in a local publication were recently busted on prostitution charges in Gwinnett County, CL did some digging. "It is common that at local vendors a person will be able to pick up magazines that advertise [prostitution] as escorts, sensual massages. On 09/19/06 ... a prostitution operation was conducted. I called Exotic Beauties from an ad placed in Creative Loafing. I spoke with an unknown woman on the phone. She told me that she would send a girl to me. [The escort] told me that is (sic) was $225.00 and that it was all-inclusive ... she then took out a bottle of lubricant and a condom. The ad from Creative Loafing, the lubricant and the condoms were all placed in the evidence room."</
-- From a Gwinnett County Police incident report describing the prostitution sting</
"I am 105 pounds of energy and desire poured into a sultry 5'5" frame. You will find me to be highly perceptive, seductively sensuous and a consummate conversationalist ... My fees reflect the quality, thoughtfulness and exclusivity of my companionship."</
-- Payton, a local escort who charges a minimum of $2,000 for four hours of service. She was featured in (of all places) Atlanta magazine's "How to Live the Lux Life" issue this month
