Sometimes Oakhurst’s “U-Joint can subject you to the kind of wait that can make you wonder, “Am I going to spend the rest of my life here? Should that occur, you won’t starve to death, as the former gas station serves all manner of pub grub, including an elegant tortilla soup and quesadillas and the fragrant Blue Cheese Burger and such finger foods as Buffalo wings, Buffalo shrimp, and their cholesterol-boosting Universal Fries, which come with white cheddar and applewood bacon and are not for the faint (or weak) of heart.
