Because not doing anything to seriously address the state’s transportation woes apparently doesn’t take up enough of his time, Gov. Sonny Perdue spent a spiral-cut slice of last Tuesday morning posing for photos in his office with a HoneyBaked Ham. By the governor’s proclamation, March 27 was HoneyBaked Ham Day in Georgia. Makes us wonder what the photo op for last year’s Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month was like.

On Thursday, David Arquette, star of the wacky horror movie trilogy Scream, was at Criminal Records in Little Five Points. He was promoting his directorial debut, The Tripper. It’s a wacky horror movie. Then, on Friday, the NCAA opened the Georgia Dome’s doors, allowing ball lovers to watch the Final Four squads practice.
