Baring winter-born-again virginal flesh in the Atlanta sun feels best when done so while strolling the Beltline (it’s science. Trust). In celebration of its seventh year, Art on the Atlanta BeltLine issued an official call for new artistic contributions “that reflect the historic, environmental, cultural, functional, urban design, and/or aesthetic aspects of the sites and should be well-researched, well-planned and feasible,” according to a press release. The selected temporary works are slated to be unveiled September 10 and remain on display through November. Last year’s winners ranged from murals to dance performances to sculptures — it’s a broad theme, so there’s a lot of opportunity to find a groove and really go for it. Past funded artists include dance outfit Fly on a Wall, sculptor Gregor Turk, and muralist Mia Capodilupo (see a full list here).

Dream big but dream quick — the submission deadline is May 2 at 5 p.m. ET. Find additional criteria and submission details via Atlanta Beltline’s website.
