’’LOLA VERSUS (R) When Lola is dumped by her fiance just weeks before their wedding, she goes off the deep end. Food and booze become her comfort, until her two friends, Henry and Alice, drag her out of her hole. She begins a desperate search to find love and her place as a single woman who is almost 30.
’’ROCK OF AGES (PG-13) This rocking comedy is the tale of Sherrie and Drew, who meet on the Sunset Strip while chasing their own piece of stardom in Hollywood. When everyone’s favorite rock club is threatened by a group of church-going, god-fearing women led by Catherine Zeta-Jones, it takes the help of Stacee Jaxx (Tom Cruise) playing a concert to save it from being shut down. Set to the music of Def Leppard Joan Jett, Journey, Foreigner, Bon Jovi, Night Ranger, REO Speedwagon, Pat Benatar, Twisted Sister, Poison, Whitesnake, and more, this movie is for anyone wanting the nostalgia of the glam-metal age.
’’THAT’S MY BOY (R) Adam Sandler plays Donny, a teenager who fathers a child with his school teacher. His son, Todd (Andy Samberg), is raised by Donny until Todd turns 18. After not seeing each other in years, Donny shows up at Todd’s wedding unannounced and uninvited, with hopes of reconnecting with his son. The only problem is, Todd hasn’t exactly forgiven his father for the ‘unconventional’ parenting methods his father used as a teen.

SAFETY NOT GUARANTEED (R) A local reporter finds an advertisement in the classified sections of a local newspaper. The ad reads: “WANTED: Someone to go back in time with me. This is not a joke. You get paid after we get back. Must bring your own weapons. SAFETY NOT GUARANTEED. I have only done this once before.” Obviously, the reporter had to look into this more, but as one of his interns (Aubrey Plaza from Parks and Recreation) gets closer to the man who claims he can time travel. The reporter and his intern soon realize the man may not be as crazy as he appears. The comedic chemistry in this film is near perfect. UA Tara, 2345 Cheshire Bridge Road
