’’THE MAN WITH THE IRON FISTS: (R) Wu-Tang Clan’s RZA makes his directorial debut with this hard-hitting Kung-Fu tale. The story follows a town blacksmith in China who is driven to make deadly weapons for feuding factions in the town. One day, the blacksmith realizes the only way to stop the bloodshed is to enter the battle himself. With production from Quentin Tarintino and a handful of all-star actors like Russell Crowe and Lucy Liu, RZA’s ‘Iron Fists’ is going to be a knockout.

’’WRECK-IT RALPH: (PG) Disney and Pixar’s new film is about a 8 bit video game character named Ralph, more specifically Wreck-It Ralph. Ralph is tired of playing the villain in his mundane two dimensional world, and he decides to ‘game-jump.’ Essentially, Ralph wants to see the ‘video game’ world and tries his luck in other games; from battling aliens to chasing Pac-Man ghosts, and everything in between. This fun film, is a must see for video game nerds and movie lovers alike.

The film follows these kids struggles, on and off the chess board as budget cuts threaten their favorite extracurricular activity, these young masters of the world’s most complicated game feel invincible with their found success. ROPE: (PG) Alfred Hitchcock’s first film in color, this story follows two college boys who decide to kill a peer just for the thrill of it. Then in some twisted game of high-stakes pleasure the boys hide the body in a chest and invite friends and family of the deceased to their home for a dinner party. As the boys make back-handed jokes about the hidden body, eventually their professor starts to suspect something. Hitchcock filmed this film in a seamless manner, trying to make it appear as one continual shot throughout the entire film, classic cinema. The Plaza Theatre, 1049 Ponce De Leon Ave.’’
THE SESSIONS: (R) 3 Stars. Based on the autobiographical writings of journalist Mark O’Brien, this film is about a man, confined to an iron lung, who wants to lose his virginity before he dies.
