Record thus far: 3-3

Whoo! Daddy made a comeback last night going 2-1 with my picks. That sets me at dead-even so far, and in Vegas a push is a win, so lets go make that money, dont let it make you (shout out to Ronnie, Diamond, Dolla’ Bill and The Players Club). Anyhow, Im feeling good about tonight, I must say. Theres lots of NBA action which left me with plenty of options, but Ive narrowed the picks down to my two favorites, and once again Im going with a hockey bet for my third and final suggestion. By the way, I’m still alive with both of my MTV “Real World/Road Rules Challenge: The Duel” picks. Brad and Jodie on mine homie.

1) Dallas Mavericks 4.5 at Indiana Pacers

The Mavericks who own the best record in the NBA at 29-8 go for their 16th win in 17 games tonight against the Pacers. Dallas beat Indiana 100-91 when they played a little over a week ago in Dallas on Jan. 4, and I expect tonight to be no different despite the city switch. Indiana is coming off of three straight victories, but they were against the lowly Celtics, the injury-plagued Hornets, and the despicable Hawks (not exactly convincing wins). I dont think the Pacers have anyone who will control a fired-up Dirk Nowitzki, looking to rebound from a disappointing 11-point outing on Jan. 10 against the Portland Trailblazers.

2) Washington Wizards 7.5 at New Orleans Hornets

Aside from the Dallas Mavericks and Phoenix Suns, nobody in the NBA is playing better ball right now than the Washington Wizards. They will go for their ninth win in 11 games tonight against a beat-up Hornets squad, still missing their three best players (Chris Paul, Peja Stojakovic and David West) due to injuries. The Wizards are 16-2 on the year when their stud Gilbert Arenas scores 30 or more, and I see no reason why he wont hit his 30.5 point-per-game average tonight. New Orleans has also lost five of their last six, but beware, Washington has lost nine games in a row when playing against the Hornets on the road

3) Minnesota Wild/Edmonton Oilers __over 5 goals

Minnesota is playing on the heels of last nights victory against Vancouver in which they scored five goals on their own, and gave up another two. Four of the last five games that Edmonton has played at home have gone over, and in their last home game a total of 11 goals were scored in a 6-5 losing effort.

Please bet responsibly, although I probably wont.__
