Summer feels like it's been over for a while - but, alas, not until this coming weekend, with the equinox. Suitably, The High's Drawing Inside the Perimeter is also on its last weekend, after opening all the way back in July. The exhibit features more than 40 drawings from the permanent collection, plus two exclusive drawings by HENSE and Rocio Rodriguez. The works "act as a road map to the crisscrossing avenues of artistic production." There is little order but much variety, one inverting the other. Hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m., Friday and Saturday; and noon-5 p.m. on Sunday.

More for your weekend, after the jump.

Suehyla El-Attar saw all the refugees around her - and all of their experiences - and decided to write a play, Third Country, drawn from the stories of those who have settled in Clarkson from everywhere else. The piece follows Nura (Cynthia D. Barker), who "clings to her soccer ball like a lifeline" when she meets a resettlement worker named Sasha. Country is directed by Lisa Adler and staged by the Horizon Theatre Company, from Sept. 20-Oct. 20. Ticket info here.

Terra Proportare, opening at WonderRoot "expresses the imagination that comes from great challenges in life and how creating art can help one overcome difficulties" through a collection of print and photographs by Jason b. James and Justin James. I'm told it is both "amazing" and "inspiring." Hours are from noon-9 p.m.

From 1-5 p.m. Artists Jiha Moon, Andy Moon Wilson, and Jason Kofke will contribute.

Last time most people saw Atlanta native Omar Dorsey, he was playing a homicidal "maniac" in Showtime's "Ray Donovan" — his words, not ours.

But Dorsey's next big screen role will be as the Rev. James...

Programming note: This is my last week on the ATLwood beat, y'all. It's been a wonderful 18 months; at this point, there are almost too many productions and their attendant celebrities to keep track of. I followed in the footsteps of the industrious, omnivorous Allison Keene. And now someone will follow me.
