? Inhabitants, a show featuring new works by Emily Maxwell and Ansley Sproull, continues at Beep Beep Gallery. The show features a mix of drawings, paintings, and mixed media works by both artists. Maxwell, an Atlanta-based artist, has previously participated in groups shows at MINT, WonderRoot and more. Athens-based Sproull finds her inspiration in patterns and the biological world.

? >> Marcia Vaitsman’s new work, Small Acts of Kindness, is currently in display at Whitespace Gallery until Nov. 28. Inspired by an accident that left her in involuntary isolation and without being able to walk for two months. You can experience her journey of healing through her multimedia pieces. She explores questions like, “What happens in someone’s mind when their spatial relationships are rearranged by migration, lack of body movement, lack of freedom, lack of money to move around or lack of privacy?” with low tech devices such as the Holga camera.
