Ohmpark Fest
is back! The music fest planned by Davy Minor, head honcho over at DeerBearWolf, comes back this Sat., Jan. 9, to East Atlanta. Ten bucks gets you a fun lineup split between two venues, The Earl and 529. Featuring Hello Ocho, Dot.s, Del Venicci, Small Reactions, Sydney Eloise & The Palms, Mara, Nomen Novum, and more. 21+ only, folks.

Callanwolde Fine Arts Center hosts Krista Clark's solo exhibition, At the Corner of the Sublime- Heights, Corners and Views, Thurs., Jan. 7. The event is free for members and $5 for guests. The opening reception runs from 7-9 p.m.

>> Creative Loafing and Write Club Atlanta bring the party to the Highland Ballroom on Thurs., Jan. 7, to celebrate the top three submissions of 2016 Fiction Contest. Cash bar, no cover. Word jams via Write Club as usual. Readings from the space-themed fiction contest will happen, as well. Stop by between 7 and 10 p.m.


>> Whitespace hosts two opening receptions on Fri., Jan. 8, from 7-10 p.m. First, Mimi Hart Silver shows her new work, Territories/Kingdoms, in the main gallery. Nearby, Zipporah Thompson embraces celestial vibes in her solo show, The Dark of the Moon, in the Whitespec gallery space.
