Time and Place: Insert drone sound

A human sized mouse trap

? I used my phantom drone (who I call Daniel the Drone) to take this photo of a corn maze at Jaemor Farms in North Georgia.
?
? A few years ago my girlfriend and I got really lost in a corn maze. I had my drone with me this time around and I wanted to get a bird’s eye view of this corn maze — to see it exactly as it is represented on the hand-drawn map that accompanies the winding adventure. There were only a few people wandering through the maze. A couple of them noticed and looked upward into the sun to try and spot my drone.
?
? I took the shot towards the back of the maze and I was a-maze-d. It did in fact look just like the hand drawn map. I really enjoy the feeling I get from the look of this human-sized mouse trap from 300 feet up in the air. A few years ago the only way you could get this view would have been from a plane or helicopter.
?
? I’ve had a few people ask me about Daniel the Drone and the shots I take with it. I really just want to get a different perspective than I could from the ground and also have fun while I’m flying it. If it ever became a problem or bothered someone I would land it immediately.
?
? The corn maze was so large — almost eight football fields wide — that I couldn’t even capture it all. It gave me a perspective on how much work must go into creating one of these mazes. And how easy it is becomes to get lost in one.
