The Televangelist: ‘Lost’ Premiere Prep Post

Fasten your seatbelts Losties, Tailies, Oceanic passengers and time travelers.  It’s once again time for some island action, brotha!

• Before we kick off, ask yourself: can you handle this post?  Are you a true Lost Addict?

• What do we know about the final season of ‘Lost’?  This report by the Onion promises the new season of ‘Lost’ will make fans more annoying than ever. (Fan-gasm alert: Darlton actually go along with the joke.  Also, a shout out to my fellow congregants to the Church of David Simon regarding the quip: “government modeling efforts on successful containment of ‘Wire’ fans”)

• Rumor has it that almost (if not all) of the entire original cast (and potentially the Tailies) will be making cameos in this final season.  Less interesting than some of those mongs (I’m looking at you, Shannon) are the bizarre one-off characters.  Remember when Mac from ‘It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia’ briefly appeared as a prison guard named Aldo?  Here are nine more appearances whose significance to the larger story still remains in question.
