Atlanta has one of the best comedy scenes in the country, and each week is filled with plenty of opportunities to see some of Atlanta’s best local comics and visiting national touring acts. He’s your best bets for getting into some funny business.

? Mon., July 6 Little Five Points continues to be the place to be on Mondays. Head over to the Star Bar for Rotknee Presents: Monday Night Comedy, Atlanta’s oldest and best comedy show. Not many places can you see a large mix of ATL’s funniest comedians for free. Doors open at 8, show around 9ish… but you already know that.

? Wed., 7/8 A trio of comedians come to the Laughing Skull Lounge for a special one-nighter this Wednesday when Nick Malis, Ricky Carmona, and TK Kelly bring their THREEZUS tour to town. All hailing from Los Angeles, Malis has written for Comedy Central’s “Tosh.0,” Comedy Central Roasts and Howard Stern; Carmona has been featured on CC’s “Mash Up” as well as the Bridgetown and Just For Laughs comedy festivals; and Kelly has written for “Tosh.0,” Second City, and Funny Or Die. Show starts at 10:30pm.

======The more the merrier. Another Atlanta brewery will host a comedy show this Friday when the Laughing Skull Lounge teams up with Red Brick Brewing. The Skull will present a [http://laughingskulllounge.com/event.cfm?cart&id=400570#prettyphotoposter/0/|Best of ATL Comedy] show, a collection of their favorite local comics for a night of brews and laughs. Tickets are $15 and come with six drink tickets.

? The Weekend
======This weekend features plenty of options to catch a show. Over at the Laughing Skull in Midtown, Eddie Ifft headlines six shows, Thursday through Sunday. The critically acclaimed Ifft has performed on Comedy Central, BET, VH1, and “Chelsea Lately.” Recently, the comedian taped his DVD special, Live in Australia, in front of a sold-out crowd at the Sydney Opera House. Be sure to check him out.

? Over in Buckhead, Joey Coco Diaz headlines five shows at The Improv, Thursday through Saturday. You may have seen Diaz in such films as Grudge Match, The Longest Yard, and Spiderman 2; or on TV on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” and “Stand Up Revolution.” Diaz also hosts bi-weekly podcast “The Church of What’s Happening Now,” and is a regular guest on Joe Rogan’s popular podcast “The Joe Rogan Experience.”
? Back after taking a break for the holidays, the 1AM Secret Show returns to Smith’s Olde Bar. Held in the Atlanta Room, this late-night show regularly puts ATL’s best comics on stage as well as bringing in surprise drop-ins by some of the nation’s best comedians including Craig Robinson, Kyle Kinane, Bobcat Goldthwait, Kumail Nanjiani, Rory Scovel and more. You won’t know who’ll be there until it happens, so continue to make the 1AM part of your weekend routine.
