Halloween Events 2012




From costume parties to haunted houses to zombie apocalypses, here's a roundup of fun events to get you in the Halloween mood.

Chamber of Horror ATL’s best intown haunted house is back for another season of scaring the souls out of people! After evading from ghouls, quench your thirst at Masquerade’s full bar. There will also be live music. This is an 18+/adult-only house of horror. $17-$45. Through October 31. Sun.-Thurs., 8 p.m.-midnight; Fri.-Sat., 8 p.m.-1 a.m.; Fri.-Sat., Nov. 2-3, 8 p.m.-midnight. Atlanta Zombie Apocalypse It’s zombie-hunting season! Shoot zombies in Zombie Shoot, flee from the living dead in Cursed of the Undead, or fight off zombies and the CDD (Center for Disease Development) in ZWAR. $20-$60. Boos and Brews On Oct. 26, SweetWater Brewery will provide great-tasting brew to ward off evil spirits. The entry fee gets you a souvenir pint glass, SweetWater beer, and unlimited music. Capturing the Spirit of Oakland: 2012 Halloween Tours Venture through Oakland Cemetery with caution as you listen to stories of historical Atlantan figures ... along with tales of murder and mayhem. The Goat Farm + Scoutmob Halloween Party Part II Escape the dreadful world and join the Goat Farm and Scoutmob for a night of spectacles and crazy fun. The event features live performances, the Avant-Garde Lounge, and light installations. The Anointed Voices of Higher Ground Gospel Choir will make a special appearance at the party. There will also be food trucks, a photo booth, party jams by DJs Kid Pyramid and Lash LaRue (aka the Thunderbuck Ram Soundsystem), science experiments, and more. $40. 8 p.m. Sat., Oct. 27.
